Philosophizing about the misery of the world
Dante described it
perfectly. Bleeding trees waiting for judgement day,
from which we can hang ourselves on our own
branches. It is not that easy. Finding rest…takes
a real genius.
It is a question of
insight. According to R.C. Sproul we are not
sinners because we sin. We are simply sinners. In other words, we are not bad
because we do ‘evil’. We do ‘evil’ because we are
bad. Which choices do such people have? It seems
like we don’t have any options.
In order to see what
we ultimately are, we stand before the light and our
true nature is revealed. Self-revelation
is the
destruction of the ego. |
